My Story

On the 4th May I'm taking on Women V Cancer Ride the Night and cycling 100km around London to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Now, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.

These charities are incredibly close to my heart for a number of reasons and it would mean so much to have your support:

  • I lost my lovely Mum to breast cancer 20 years ago.
  • My younger sister was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago, it returned last year and she is undergoing further chemotherapy and surgery.
  • When my sister was diagnosed, we both had genetic testing, the results showed we carry the BRCA1 Gene mutation, putting us at very high risk of breast and ovarian cancers. I'm now 5 months post preventative surgery and on a mission to get fit for this ride.

These charities provide vital information and support to thousands of people facing cancer and with our help, hope to make cancer history.

Please support me and the Women V Cancer charities on my challenge and make a donation. Whatever you can donate, any amount will be split evenly between Breast Cancer Now, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action and will go a very long way.

Thank you.
