My Story

I'm taking on Women V Cancer Ride the Night London 2024 to raise vital funds for three important charities at a time when they need it most. Breast Cancer Now, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action's fundraising has been hit hard recently, but their information and support services have been needed more than ever. All three charities have continued to provide vital information and support to thousands of patients.

It's personal, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2015 I've had chemo and radiotherapy and come out the other side!!!!!! I'll be doing the ride on my e-bike, even 8 years on the impact of chemo and the nasty drugs still affects my legs.
My cycle ride is inspired by 4 special women all of whom have lost their fight against this horrible disease! Sue my friend and windsurfing coach, Sarah a fellow traveller who I thought would be a friend for life when I met her on a holiday in Thailand (little did I know how short that life would be), Jules who I met 20 years ago when I bought my house in Hilton and Jane my sister's best friend and godmother to my 2 nieces. sadly there are so many others!  I’m challenging myself to cycle through London at night so that these charities can continue to be there for people facing breast, ovarian and cervical cancers.

Please support me and the Women V Cancer charities on my challenge and make a donation. Whatever you can donate, any amount will be split evenly between Breast Cancer Now, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and will go a very long way.

Thank you.
